Quality education at school, even in times of war

Quality education at school, even in times of war

Due to the war, schoolchildren in Zaporizhzhia were forced to study online for almost two years. But now the situation is changing.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, you and I have been constantly supporting the educational complex based on the school and two kindergartens. At first, it welcomed refugees from occupied and frontline territories — we provided food, clothing, and hygiene products, and also purchased three dishwashers.

Later, an Unbreakable Point appeared at the school. But invincibility needed support, and we provided it — we bought folding chairs and beds, generators, thermos jugs, heaters, and even a portable toilet.

However, the school had to restore its school life, and using local budget funds, ventilation, lighting, a stationary bathroom were made in the shelter, and the walls were put in order. But the floor was not taken care of. And once again you and I came to the rescue, purchasing materials for its repair. We also bought two hundred compact single desks to accommodate children in the shelter.

Now 387 children study twice a week in the shelter, and from January they plan to increase their stay within the school walls to three days. We are rejoiced at the results of our joint hard work!

And by the New Year, we want to make children's education even higher quality. For this, it is necessary to purchase three mobile whiteboards and three small projectors. The total estimated cost is up to 30,000 hryvnias.
