ATTENTION! AS OF 09/11/2025: Collection has been stopped! We purchased a hearing aid for Ani. Thank you very much for your help!

Thirteen-year-old Anya from Zaporizhzhia studies at a school for children with hearing impairments. She was born prematurely, and this had consequences. The girl has vision problems, endocrine and neurological disorders, as well as scoliosis. In addition, Anya has grade 3 hearing loss. Hearing aids for her are a means of full communication with the world around her.

Successful learning requires focus and the ability to clearly perceive information, especially during remote classes. To communicate with friends, classmates, and teachers, Anya needs to hear well.

Despite all the difficulties, the girl is open to communication, has friends, spends her free time drawing, listening to music, enjoying computer games, and achieving success in her studies.

In 2025, Anya received one hearing aid funded by the state budget. However, to purchase the second device, costing almost 38,000 UAH (approximately $907 USD), her low-income family has no means. The girl lives with her mother and sick grandmother.
