How to make donations to the department

GENERAL INFORMATION

Pulmonology department functionates since 1976 year. It is is meant for 40 patients and has 10 wards.

Children with respiratory apparatus diseases, chronic bronchial pathologies, malformations of bronhial tree, mucoviscidosis (fibrocystic disease of pancreas), immunodeficiency state receive medical treatment here.

Pulmonology department of the Regional Zaporizhzhya Children's Hospital (RZCH) is the only department in our region that treats such child’s diseases.

The mucoviscidosis center functionates on the base of pulmonology department. Mucoviscidosis is incurable illness, so patients are in need of active regular medical check-up and persistent therapy during all their life. Today there are 73 children from region that have such disease. And there are 18 more children with such diagnosis, which cannot accomplish doctors’ recommendation for social reasons.

DEPARTMENT NEEDS:

Here are some of immediate needs of Pulmonology department:

1. Preparation for mucoviscidosis treatment;

2. Training apparatus for kinesitherapy;

3. Quartz lamps for every ward.
