Ivan and Polina: fundraising for rehabilitation

Invoice

Ivan and Polina are twins who prove every day that even serious diagnoses cannot stop their desire to learn, develop, and enjoy life.

The twins were born prematurely, which affected their further development. Ivan has hydrocephalus, grade IV sensorineural hearing loss, and cerebral palsy. Polina has scoliosis and delayed speech development.

In addition to school, Polina works with a special education teacher and an English teacher, attends basketball classes, and undergoes Schroth therapy for scoliosis treatment. Daily exercises and wearing a Cheneau brace are already showing positive results. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, sculpting, and riding a scooter.

Ivan studies at school under an individual program. After classes, he works with a speech therapist and a hearing specialist. Thanks to this, he has acquired new words and better understands spoken language. Ivan enjoys drawing, helping his mother at home, and taking care of his pet — a cat named Simba. Recently, he learned to ride a scooter, and now the children enjoy these simple but very valuable moments of childhood together.

Since almost birth, we have been helping the twins move closer to a healthy childhood. Regular rehabilitation courses work wonders — and this is evident from Ivan and Polina’s progress. The next course is scheduled for June, and its cost for both children is 53,600 hryvnias (approximately 1,270 US dollars)

Please support Ivan and Polina — help them continue moving forward and getting closer to a healthy and happy childhood.
