The contest of social initiatives "We are the city" is a unique platform (funded by Zaporizhstal factory) for realizing bright ideas that improve life for people of Zaporozhye. In 2018, the team of charitable foundation Happy Child has been awarded support for two projects:

1. Solar collectors for Happy Homes This initiative will provide all domestic hot water during the warm season (April to October) for foster families with a total of 38 children (17 with disabilities). Thus children and parents can bathe and wash in comfortable water without wrecking the family budget. Savings will go toward rehabilitation and development of former orphans.

2. Swimming pool for special children in Kalynivka. In this small village in Chernigov district are Happy Homes №1 and №2. Here, together with their adoptive parents live 16 very special boys and girls. These children and their neighbors at the psychoneurological residential facility for men will enjoy the water, strengthen their bodies, and be more effectively rehabilitated in a comfortable modern pool.

The team of charitable foundation Happy Child is not stopping here! We are working to ensure that all children coming to our Happy Homes receive caring parents, comfortable living conditions, and effective rehabilitation and socialization.
