Zaporozhye oblast is home to a unique project called Happy Child. Orphans and handicapped children (8-9 people) live together with their adoptive parents in family homes. In order to finish construction of Happy Home 5, we need 750 USD to pay for completing outside insulation works.

According to Albert Pavlov, President of the Happy Child Fund, manager of the Happy Village Project Fund, adoptive father:

“Happy Home 5, located in Lubymivka village of Mihaylivskiy district, will soon host a new adoptive family which consists of 8 children and 2 adults. We have completed all inside works including floors, ceilings, tiles, and electrical wiring. The only remaining task is to complete outside insulation works, install siding, and paint the outside walls – for this we need 750 USD. We would like to ask all potential donors to help us collect this sum as soon as possible so that the new home can be opened in April. Our goal is to invite guests to visit the home on June 1, the International Children Protection Day.

Happy Home 5 also needs appliances (refrigerator, stove, sink, boiler, etc.) and furniture (two-level bunk beds with mattresses, bed sheets, tables, chairs, couches and arm chairs), curtains and tulle. Happy Village Project and Happy Child Fund are unique in Ukraine. It provides children who live in orphanages with a chance to live fuller, happier lives. This has already happened for 33 children, who now live in comfortable conditions and a warm family atmosphere in four similar houses in Chernihiv and Myhailovskiy districts. Process to select adoptive parents for Happy Home 5 is already underway.
