Dear friends,

We hasten to inform you that the construction work of the second "Happy Home" in Kalinovka has been completed! We have just ordered furniture which will be ready within the next two weeks. Besides, all paper registration formalities on the building commissioning are already in progress, which will probably take another 2 or 3 weeks.

All construction expenses have been fully covered, but we still need some funds for the purchase of household appliances as well as for the purchase of chairs and curtains. Besides, it will be necessary to pay for the work of two additional teachers – around 6,000 hryvnyas (5,314 US dollars) per month including taxes.

Based on the preliminary estimates, we will also need 3,000 hryvnyas (265 US dollars) to buy tiles and make a path from the main building of orphanage to the road.

We’d like to thank all those people who have been supporting this project for the last 2 years. We just need to take a few small steps forwards and 9 girls will have a chance to live in comfortable and family-like conditions for the first time in their lives. From almost 3-years’ experience of these boys there is no alternative to such houses in the system of care homes for children with special needs (except for life in a family).

Here are the girls who will live in the second home in a month. These girls cannot imagine how close they are to the miracle. Thank you!
