In June and July, we were again supporting hospitals that treat children under difficult conditions and require daily assistance. Here’s how kindness turns into real help.
Orikhiv Hospital currently operates in Zaporizhzhia and continues to provide care to patients. Additionally, a special medical team travels to villages in the region to examine and treat those without access to medical assistance. In response to the hospital's official request, we purchased necessary medical equipment for 70,000 UAH – approximately $1,920. This includes electrocardiographs, blood pressure monitors, pediatric cuffs, spirometers, and glucose measurement systems with test strips. All of these are basic but extremely important items that help doctors quickly and accurately assess patients’ conditions and provide timely care.
At the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Hospital, we supported several departments simultaneously. In the intensive care unit, we provided medication for a child after a car accident. For the mental health department, we again delivered medicines, and the perinatal unit received 20 vials of Aminoven and an external drainage system for newborn Mark. Additionally, we purchased 200 infusion sets for the hematology department. The total value of this support was 128,000 UAH – approximately $3,500.
Special support was given to Kherson Regional Children's Hospital, which operates under constant danger – very close to the front line. Thanks to grant support amounting to 199,930 UAH – approximately $5,480, we purchased construction materials, sofas, and lamps to arrange a safe waiting area.
Overall, during this period, we helped hospitals for more than 398,000 UAH – approximately 10,900 USD.
We sincerely thank everyone who stands with us. Together we can do more – and every day we make children’s lives better.
