Over the past few months, we have funded rehabilitation courses for seven children diagnosed with cerebral palsy and speech and language developmental delays. Thanks to your support, they are now one step closer to their first words, confident movements, and new achievements.
Four-year-old twins Danya and Anya Tarasovy completed a course of therapeutic exercises and massage, worked with a speech therapist and a special education teacher. As a result, their speech improved, and the children became more attentive and calm. Parents already see positive progress and are grateful for your help.
Timofiy Lapkov is only a year and a half old, and this was his first intensive rehabilitation course at the Kozyavkin clinic. The boy learned to sit with arm support, new sounds appeared, as well as new emotions. Timofiy now sleeps better and has a good appetite.
Twins Vanya and Polina Babich underwent treatment in Dnipro. The sessions focused on developing speech, thinking, and self-care skills. According to the parents, the course was very effective and brought noticeable results.
Maria Kivnyuk completed a two-week treatment at the Kozyavkin clinic. The girl's muscle tone decreased significantly, and she became calmer, as she had recently been in a state of constant stress due to frequent air raid sirens.
Mykhailo Zavorotny was intensively preparing for school: learning letters and numbers, practicing attention, speech, and fine motor skills. He especially enjoyed sensory integration sessions — active, engaging, and with tactile elements. After the course, the boy responds better to communication and has started making new attempts at speech.
In total, we allocated 160,440 UAH (approximately 3,890 USD) for the rehabilitation of these seven children. We sincerely thank everyone who contributes — together we give children a chance for a better future!
