Collection for Mariiky rehabilitation continues

Due to cerebral palsy, Mariikа suffers from spasticity - uncontrolled muscle tension that causes pain. Massages and physical therapy improve her condition significantly and reduce muscle tone for a while, then her arms and legs become more mobile.

Mariika studies with pleasure and always waits for her teacher. The girl hardly speaks, but communicates with the help of her hands. That is why it is so important that the fingers do not hide in the fist, and the handles move freely. This allows her to perform her teacher's tasks and draw. In addition to studying, Mariika enjoys walking outside and adores the family's favorite cat, Lucky.

Collection for Mariiky rehabilitation continues

Mariika is currently taking a massage course taught by her sister Darya, a student at the Medical University. In this way, the sisters help each other - Daria acquires the skills of a rehabilitator, and Mariiky well-being improves.

To get rid of spasticity and pain, massages alone are, of course, not enough. It is necessary to take intensive rehabilitation courses at least several times a year. In January of this year, we paid for Mariika medical ticket to the Kozyavkin clinic. Mom says that the method of this center suits the girl perfectly. The next course is scheduled for August, its cost is about 19,200 hryvnias (490 US dollars), which the family does not have. So let's support this wonderful girl together and give her the opportunity to live without pain!
