Valeriia was diagnosed with a disability when she was only four years old. Since then, her parents have been fighting every day to ensure their daughter has a happy and fulfilling life.
This is not an easy path: adaptation in a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, regular therapies in Zaporizhzhia under programs Article 309 and Article 54. On a permanent basis, Valeriia works with a speech therapist, psychologist, physical therapy specialist, correctional teacher, massage therapist, and osteopath.
Valeriia studies at the “Oberih” boarding school. Learning is difficult for her, but she tries very hard, actively participates in school life and cultural events, where she receives diplomas and awards.
Due to her main diagnosis, Valeriia constantly has to take medication, attend consultations, and undergo treatment adjustments. But now she has another important need — dental treatment under sedation. Valeriia dreams of having a beautiful smile, but at the moment she is even shy to smile.
Valeriia’s family is doing everything possible for her health and happiness, but now they need our support.
According to the treatment plan, the required amount is 19,200 UAH (approximately $460). For the family, this sum is overwhelming, which is why they turned to our Foundation for help. They believe there are many kind and caring people among us.
