A Child Has a Family – Kirill K., born in 2011

October 20, 2015, 13:10 3451 Author: Ekaterina Verman, translated by Andrei Vernon www.deti.zp.ua Kirill was adopted!

Kirill met us with a smile that showed such a level of happiness and hope that it’s obvious he is not afraid of meeting new people. Even though Kirill has access to many bright and colorful toys, it cannot be compared with the care and love that parents give.

According to his caretakers, Kirill is a good and reliable helper. In fact, Kirill is glad to help with any kind of task.

The little guy is always excited to meet new people and hear new voices even though he still struggles to speak. Despite this, it is easy to interact with him.

Kirill’s caretakers also say that he is very bright. For example, he doesn’t waste time trying to figure out how to put figures in their correct shapes and always solves the problem quickly. Kirill also has a pleasant temperament – he understands when someone is joking with him.

Kirill is ready to open his heart and love the family that believes in him.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at an orphanage with your financial support. Ways you can help include planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
