I have not seen such an amusing young man in a very long time. Igor was playing with a dolphin toy in a playroom. Wasn’t surprising that he was immersed in that “fish”, that is his favourite toy.

Igor cannot stay still for a minute, and, it seems, that it’d be impossible to attract his attention. But far from it. Wise care assistants are very positive: “You should’ve seen him a year ago! He couldn’t concentrate at all, his speech was incomprehensible. He turned himself round completely!” They say that boys who are nearing graduation who are calm, sensible, intelligent, have all been the same in primary school. The main thing is that a boy has an inquisitive mind, the rest will be easy to catch up on.

What else could be said about Igor? He likes fairy-tales. Also he has an older friend at the orphanage who is an incontestable authority for him. Igor is trying to be near him, be like him in every way, and, in return, the friend takes care of him, takes him for bike rides and teaches him gardening… The only thing Igor is scared of are dogs. One thing I can say for sure – there’s never a dull moment with him.

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
