Elena was adopted.
Elena is a class monitor: she is a serious and reliable person. There’s a well-known expression “a southern temperament” which is used about a person with an emotional, passionate and impetuous character. This saying can sometimes be applied to Elena. This expression suits the girl as she is a sensitive person with a rich imagination. However her emotions are rarely physically seen. Elena’s got used to showing her sorrows, her joys, and her hopes on paper: she loves to paint and draw.
Elena enjoys her lessons, and loves running as well as playing a variety of sports and games. She’s an active girl: strong and good at sports.
Her elder brother Sasha also studies at the same orphanage. Elena takes care of him -sometimes teasing him though. Although he usually defends her, he can upset her once in a while. So, in short, Elena and Sasha have the usual ‘brother and sister’ relationship. Elena knows that she is fortunate, as most orphans don’t have siblings with them.
Elena has a teenage brother Alexander (Sasha) who was born in 1996 (profile # 0059399).
If you hurry, you can welcome these children into your family.
If you are interested in adopting, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56. Request Elena’s (#0059397) and Sasha’s ( #0059399) profiles.
Other children who dream of finding a family
If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
