March 2, 2010, 13:50 3196 reporter.zp.ua 16 kids from Zaporozhye have found their families and parents from the beginning of 2010.

As it was told to “ReporterUA” by the Chief of Children Affairs Service at Zaporozhye Regional State Administration Antonina Zaitz, in January, this year, 8 children were adopted by the citizens of Ukraine and 8 kids more found their foreign foster parents. Also from the beginning of this year 3 new foster families were set up in Zaporozhye region, where parents took 3 kids for upbringing.

It should be noted that all kids, who get to foster families, are kept under the intent observation of the City Social Services officers. “We are going to send the reports to Kiev; we have gathered 1200 kg of documents. All organizations, which are visited by the child of the foster family, collect their summaries, recommendations and reports from teachers, doctors and social services. Every child is been thoroughly taken care of”, says Antonina Zaitz.

By the way, the representatives of Social Service visit foster parents once a year because it is necessary to keep a strict confidentiality in this case.
