Helping children with special needs has always been a priority of our work. In peacetime, we had a queue to post information about the child on the site in order to start raising funds for rehabilitation or treatment.
2022 is an exception. Most families with children with disabilities have evacuated abroad. But there are those who remain.
Parents of children with disabilities are faced with new challenges: evacuate from the occupied territory for the sake of a sick child, look for housing near a rehabilitation center, go to classes to the sound of a siren and be upset because of the cancellation because there is no electricity. They are well aware that, despite all the difficulties, the child must study with specialists so as not to lose the acquired skills.
To everyone who turned to us, we helped. This year we paid for the rehabilitation of children on a total amount of almost 5 438 $. Polina from Energodar and Misha from Berdyansk went to Kyiv. Masha, Sofia, Margarita and Sasha were engaged in the rehabilitation center of our city, and Alexey - in the Dnieper.
