On July 8, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, far from Ukraine, a charity event “Freedom Hive” was held, organized by the Embassy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian society with the support of the Consulate General of France. It was the French friends who provided the venue for it - the residence of the Consul General.

The organizers of the event are primarily Ukrainians who have close ties with relatives from Ukraine and who are so painful to watch the terrible events in their native country. Consequently, the purpose of the "Beehive of Freedom" action was not just to unite for the sake of meeting with like-minded people, but also to help Ukraine. It is especially pleasing that CF "Happy Child" was chosen to achieve this goal.

With the start of the war in Ukraine, our regional fund expanded the boundaries of its assistance to the Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Kherson regions, both in the occupied territory and in the territory controlled by Ukraine. Thanks to the comprehensive support of friends of Ukraine from abroad, we can periodically support large and low-income families. Also, the main direction of the fund's work is assistance in the treatment of sick children and support for children's hospitals. Therefore, 11 607$, received from the organizers of the charity event, will be used to support children affected by the war in Ukraine.

Already now, thanks to foreign support, we have started implementing projects to help two families in Zaporozhye, in which children need hearing aids. And soon we will definitely report on the first results.
