A Child Needs a Family: Tatyana B., born in 1999

January 14, 2014, 12:00 7379 Author: Ekaterina Nedashkovskaya, translated by Oxana Burns www.deti.zp.ua Tatyana is 18 years old now

One cannot but pay attention and give a hug to this girl. Tatyana is like a teddy bear which you want to cuddle.

Tatyana is a very sociable little girl. She reaches out to people, likes to be paid attention to. It seems to me, that this kid is very devoted. If Tatyana considers you to be a good person, you can be sure that she will hold on to you.

Tatyana wants to become a photographer in future. When we gave the girl our camera, she was very happy. By the way, Tatyana films well. Our photographer even wanted to do some project involving her.

Tatyana lacks maternal care. I'm sure if this girl gets parents who will take care of her, she will love them back in future.

Video has been filmed with the support of the Dnipropetrovsk regional charitable organization "Rainbow Shine”. There are more profiles on the website

If you have been thinking about adopting this child or other children, please, read the memo to potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; or you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhye State Administration by telephones (061) 239-02-51 or (061) 239-01-56 and request Tatyana’s profile number # 0059016 according to the orphan list.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
