Carolina is 4 years old. And she only has her mother. Karolina loves animals very much and wants to communicate with other children. But, unfortunately, not being able to talk, she is faced with a misunderstanding. The fact that she has a hearing problem, found out recently. Diagnosis: hearing loss of both ears of the 3rd degree, and without hearing aids it was impossible to teach Caroline to speak. The diagnosis was confirmed at the Zaporozhye Medical Center for Auditory Rehabilitation. They also helped to pick up 2 hearing aids, costing 1 473 $. It was just a matter of buying them.
The parents found out that Lesha was hard of hearing at the end of the 1st grade. It just became clear that all the preparatory classes with a defectologist and a speech therapist before school and a whole year of schooling were wasted. Lesha did not distinguish half of the sounds, and understood in his own way, as he heard. He began to fail in his studies, including due to a misunderstanding of the teacher's speech. After another check at the hearing center, they confirmed that Lesha needed a hearing aid. With all consumables, its cost was 2 270 $.
Karolina is from an incomplete and low-income family, and Lesha is from a large family. Ordinary Zaporozhye families, faced with the realities of the war in Ukraine, were not ready for such expenses, and therefore turned to the fund for help.
Usually, in such cases, the fund begins fundraising, which could drag on for several months. And so, imagine the joy of parents when we were ready to pay for hearing aids within a week after they contacted us! Help from the Ukrainian community in Vietnam, at that time was timely and simply priceless!
Thank you, friends, for supporting Zaporozhye families in this difficult time for Ukraine. Now Karolina and Lesha will definitely “talk” anyone! They have so much to make up for!
Anyone who wants to join the army of wizards and make at least one child a little happier is always welcome!
