“Hello! My name is Yulia, and I'm 14. I dream of opening my own pastry shop!” - our new ward begins her story vividly.
Yulia has a rare genetic disease called cystic fibrosis. She spends several hours every day fighting her illness. Every day he performs 2 - 3 inhalations, does breathing exercises and takes handfuls of drugs. Not a single day is complete without sports.
The school regime does not fit into such a schedule, so Yulia has been homeschooled for six years. Now she is finishing 8th grade, and sadly dreams of returning to school. She hardly remembers what it is like to study with classmates and fool around during recess. “I need to do inhalation early in the morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. They bored me so much! But my life depends on drugs, ”says Yulia sadly.
But then sparks sparkle in her eyes - Julia talks about her hobby for baking: about her first cake, different types of cookies, juices and pies. In her free time, Yulia reads a lot, enjoys playing board games with her sister and friend. Like most teenagers, he likes to sit on the phone, follows trends and favorite bloggers.
Julia has a severe form of cystic fibrosis. Every year it becomes more difficult for her mother to provide treatment for her daughter. “Three to four times a year we go to the hospital with an aggravation. Yulia undergoes a number of procedures: bronchoscopy, intravenous antibiotic course, droppers. My daughter is growing, and the list of drugs is growing with her. Some of the drugs are given to us for budgetary funds, the rest have to be bought, since there is no funding. My own funds are no longer enough, so I have to ask for help", says mother Alyona.
Yulia needs more than 180 dollars monthly to support the work of her heart, liver and lungs. You also need to update the annual set for the inhaler and buy breathing machines - this is another 145 dollars. Please support our talented and cheerful girl!
Julia lives in the village. Lobachov, Kiev region.
