In May 2018, Victoria was treated with botulinum toxin. These injections released muscle hypertonia/spasticity thus permitting increased movement. With feet and hands relaxed, Victoria is now much more comfortable to endure rehabilitation!

In July, she visited Apis rehabilitation center in Khmelnitsky. The enhanced physical therapy and massage achieved lasting results. Classes with a speech therapist and a psychologist were very beneficial. These two weeks of rehabilitation cost $280 USD.

Together with travel and living expenses, it was pretty expensive for a family, but they managed! Back in their hometown, Victoria and goes to the pool two or three times a week and takes swimming lessons between rehabilitations.

This November, Victoria needs to go again to Apis for three weeks of enhanced rehabilitation which costs $520 USD.

Dear friends and assistants, please support a small and very persistent Victoria! With your help, she will be able to stand on her feet sooner!
