Little Yegor Linkov and His Grown-Up Challenges

July 22, 2017, 17:50 2154 Author: Olga Vovk www.deti.zp.ua Yegor’s parents are sincerely thanking all the guarding angels who help to save the life of their little son.

Hello, our dearest guarding angels! From my very heart, I would like to thank you for not staying aside and helping us. We do not have many news to boast with, in six months we have twice been to a hospital: in February and in May (relapses). We follow all the doctor’s instructions, but Yegor is still very little and the discharge of sputum is hard as he can’t cough it out. Every day, we live according to a very strict schedule: in the morning - massage, exercises on the ball, then seven sessions of inhalations, medications (mucolytic drugs, ferments, antibacterial agents, hepatoprotectors, hormones, vitamins). We try to spend our days actively, always in movement, and in the evening we have our massages and exercises again.

Our teeth give us a lot of trouble, every one of them is difficult for us and gives our little boy high temperature and uncleared bowels, so we have to do the droppers. Our first year, as well as half a year, we celebrated in a hospital with a dropper: we bought some balloons, put clown’s hats on and tried to have at least a little fun. We continue using Colomycin, trying to control the lung infection – Pseudomonas aeruginosa. All our life is a fight for a breath of air and proper liver function.

Despite all the challenges that my little boy has to face at the very start of his life, he remains a joyful and kind-hearted boy, he always smiles at everyone, even at the nurses in the hospital who do injections and droppers – he keeps smiling.

Once again, I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who do not stay aside and help us to save the life of our only child – our dear Yegor. Thank you so much!
