A Child Needs a Family: Vladimir G., born in 2000

June 24, 2015, 17:40 3525 Author: Daria Sukach www.deti.zp.ua Volodya has reached the age of majority

Vladimir surprised us with a bright variety of his hobbies and abilities. The teenager proudly claims that he loves helping his educators around. We were touched by the fact that he not only knows all his teachers by name but expresses his gratitude to everyone.

Although Vladimir regularly has to see his speech therapist he is a hard-working student and an active participant of song and poems festivals. Vladimir confessed with his modest and honest smile that he was many times awarded with letters of commendation for his talents. The young man also shared his art works with us – his drawings of flowers and jugs.

In his spare time Vladimir just like all the boys likes to play race cars and ride a bicycle. The boy fascinated us with his skill in the game of darts and football. We really want to hope that one day with his arrow of kindness and charm Vladimir will reach the hearts of his future parents.

If you are interested in adopting this child or other children, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents; you can also contact Children’s Affairs' service of the Zaporozhia State Administration by telephone (061) 239-01-56 and refer to the profile number of Vladimir - 0055230.

Other children who dream of finding a family

If for some reason you are currently not able to adopt (for example, you are a student and do not have a family of your own yet) you are still able to help children at a boarding school (an orphanage) with your financial support. Ways you can help include: planning and participating in excursions and trips for children; visiting a child in an orphanage; or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sports equipment.
