A Computer – To a Large Family!

December 3, 2014, 11:00 1917 Author: Albert Pavlov, translated by Oxana Burns deti.zp.ua Another large family received a computer from caring people

We continue the program of computerization of large families of the Zaporozhzhye region. The other day a computer was delivered to the Ivanovs, a family from Zaporozhzhye with 6 children!

Компьютер – в многодетную семью!

We are giving thanks to Nadezhda K. (and her company), who made a present of several computers to the families; though they were not new, but operable and suitable for watching movies and Internet browsing.

Once again we address an appeal to each and everyone who are going to buy a new PC. If your old computer is operable and up to par (in normal condition) - do not store it in a dusty corner, give it to those who need it! We have a few large families in mind and such computers will do much more good to them.

Dennis, our volunteer-programmer, is ready to hand over computer parts worth about 4,000 UAH (253 US dollars), and he is ready to assemble some new PCs for large families. But a small amount of money is required for purchasing the missing parts - computer casings, power supply units, etc. As a result, a quite workable system unit will be assembled with just 300-500 UAH (19-32 US dollars) (instead of buying a new one for 2,500-4,000 UAH – 160 – 253 US dollars).

Therefore, we need feasible and reasonable donations to assemble 4 more computers. We also need TFT monitors.

Used computers, monitors and spare parts can be handed over to the staff of the fund in the office located at: 4, Hryaznova Str., Apt. 36, Zaporozhzhye, from 10 am to 6 pm on any weekday, or to make a donation online -
