Three-year-old Egor is spiritually stronger than some adults...
We wanted a child so much and God blessed us with a wonderful son we named Egor. Our son was always full of energy and curiosity. However, one day changed everything…A horrible car accident ruined our family happiness. We were hit by two oncoming cars.
This shocking road accident resulted in half a year of hospitals, tears, and pain. Our little boy had to face a long and ineffective treatment in local hospitals with his neck constantly fixed in the same position. Now he always has to wear a cervical collar. The latest tests at the Neurosurgery Institute in Kiyv revealed that Egor’s cervical spine has not united yet! The terrible part of this trauma is that it is life-threatening! Egor urgently needs to undergo surgery! The surgery can only be performed in the State Institute of Neurosurgery. The current surgery preparation includes a number of health checks and an international search for a cervical spine fixation construction.
It is really heartbreaking to see torments of our brave innocent boy. The surgery delay may affect his future health. After the surgery Egor will still need to take long rehabilitation courses.
We believe in our precious boy. We honestly hope that with your kind support we will overcome our terrible ordeal. This health battle will cost us approximately 75,000 hryvnyas or 8,410 US dollars (the final sum may raise depending on the price of the construction). Our family is unfortunately unable to bear the cost of the surgery. Egor’s father had to undergone some surgeries and is currently taking rehabilitation courses (he lost his job and we rely on government disability payments.) I, Egor’s mother, have to look after my son and guard him from any abrupt movements twenty four hours a day. So, there is basically no real source of income in our family.
We are asking you to help us bring our little boy back to his happy childhood. Even your smallest financial donation will definitely bring us closer to our big goal. We hope one day Egor will be able to play football again and climb up the tree to gather apples in his greatgrandmother’s garden.
May God bless you for your kindness!
The family lives in Zaporizhzhia.
