=====================================

In the spring Aloyna needs to undergo a PET scan. Unfortunately, PET scanners are available only in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Her family will do their best to collect enough money to pay for the trip, food and lodging, but they won't have enough to pay for the scan itself. Therefore, 6,500 hryvnyas (770 US dollars) have to be collected until then.

To our great regret, Aloyna's not feeling her best. She is exhausted because of constant headaches. However, she did feel much better after the last round of radiation therapy - she didn't have any seizures for a considerable length of time.

Aloyna's physician told us that her further treatment will depend on PET scan results. Perhaps they'll have to change her medication plan, perhaps another round of radiation therapy will be indicated.

But that will all be decided later, and now it is important to raise enough money for this very necessary diagnostic test. Please, help Aloyna!
