=====================================

Ilya is a very kind, gentle and positive boy. Unfortunately, his life has developed in such a way that he has to take handfuls of medications every day, do inhalations 5-7 times and constantly give the body physical activity. Ilya has cystic fibrosis. This is an incurable genetic disease with which our young fighter is systematically at war. At times, his efforts are not enough, and he ends up in a hospital or intensive care unit.

Ilya has a severe form of the disease, at the age of 14 his lungs, heart and gastrointestinal tract are already significantly damaged. Since the age of 12, an oxygen concentrator has become his faithful friend, which helps him breathe and specialized nutrition that does not allow critical weight loss.

Our first acquaintance with Ilyushka personally happened in the Zaporozhye hospital, when he and his mother came to us for treatment. This boy touched me to the core and sunk into my heart. I, a completely unfamiliar aunt, he tightly hugged and did not let go. Such was his boundless gratitude for the opportunity to live and breathe. For me, to be honest, such a reaction to help was a novelty, usually children are shy and shy. He is very open, with a huge heart and a pure soul. And also, he loves dogs very much and knows how to find a common language with them from a half-glance. The photo session took place on the first day of the meeting between Ilya and our dog, the fund's volunteer, Rada.

Mom Anya, wrote us some news about Ilya:

Hello our beloved friends! The New Year holidays were good, fun, with gifts, songs, sledding.

The past year has been difficult for us. Ilya was often hospitalized. Thank you very much to the fund for your help with medicines, without you we could not have done it ourselves! Now Ilya is starting to mope, I think about the weather. At night the temperature is below zero and snow falls, and during the day it is above zero, everything is melting and mud is everywhere. Ilyukha doesn't like this weather. And because of this, there is no mood. The amount of sputum has increased, it has become harmful, does not want to do anything, inhalations through "I do not want", exercises can hardly be done, appetite has become worse, and on the pulse oximeter without oxygen 83/115 (very little). We started taking antibiotics in pills, the mood improved a little. I feel like it's time for us to go to the hospital.”

Due to the fact that Ilya has a severe course of the disease, every month he needs a lot of money to support his well-being, about 12,000-15,000 hryvnias, but if he gets to the hospital, the amounts are automatically doubled. The drugs he regularly takes: "Aquadetrim", "ACC", "Vazonat", "Vitamin E", "Tivortin", "Ursofalk", "Essentiale", "Fluimucil", "Berodual", "Hepacef", "Dexamethasone" "," Cocarboxylase "," Panangin "," Rheosorbilact "," Euphyllin ".

Ilyushka also has a younger sister, Nastenka. Unfortunately, she is also often sick and has vision problems. It is very difficult for the family to provide their son with proper life-saving treatment, therefore, they turn to you for help.

The family lives in Mariupol, Donetsk region.
