Thanks to you, kind compassionate people, who did not pass by the request for assistance to help the child, Sonya got a real chance to survive.

After a full survey in the Belarusian clinic Sonya was given the diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia, 1st relapse very early, combined. At the moment the treatment with chemotherapeutical preparations has already started. But taking into account the test results, as well as the inauspicious prognosis for this diagnosis, it was determined by a consultation of physicians of the Center, that Sonya needs an allogeneic transplantation from an unrelated compatible donor in the absence of kin-compatible donor.

Sonya had already endured one course of treatment of leukemia in Zaporozhye. But an early relapse showed that we urgently needed to take more serious action - and you helped this child to go to a specialized clinic in Minsk. The money, that you have gathered had to be enough to pass treatment in the Belarusian capital. But now the child needs the BMT - and now Sonya needs much more money – the allogeneic BMT in the world costs about 150 thousand dollars.

Sonya and Sonya's mom don’t have much time: they need to decide where to do the BMT, the remission is planned after 4 weeks - and then they have to start the procedure of searching the donor.

Currently Sonya's mother has to pay no less than 30 thousand dollars for 5 courses of chemotherapy, the first of which has already begun.

After the payment of chemotherapy Sonya and her mom will have about 50 thousand dollars from all the sum of money. The BMT costs 150 thousand dollars, also they will have to spend 20-30 thousand dollars on various examinations and Sonya’s rehabilitation after the BMT. As a result, we need to gather for Sonya another 120 thousand dollars.

Of course, it is an impressive sum. But once we have already rallied to support Sonya, we have given a piece of our soul and love to this child – so we will be able to unite our efforts again.
