The sisters made a very tough decision to live separately. The younger Lilia became a member of an American family. Lesia decided to finish her school and start her new grown-up life in Ukraine. We wish the girls all the best and hope they have made the right choice!

Lesia is a real fireball – cheerful, active, plucky and athletic. She is easy-going and is always ready to stand up for herself and her sister. In her leisure time the girl likes embroidering and drawing.

Although Lesia has travelled to Italy many times in her life, it doesn’t impress her that much. Many children from the Boarding School travel to Italy. The girl most treasures simple things that ‘home’ kids can enjoy every day: family and home. The sisters don’t have a family. Lesia has been living in the orphanage since her 1st grade and Lila – even earlier.

Lilia is shyer than her sister, but she is really bright. It is challenging to get on the right side of Lilia, but no worries, her sister will help you. Lilia is a member of the “Surprise” dance team. Dancing is her favourite hobby. Lilia is diligent and serious when she dances.

The girls have got two older sisters and a brother. They have already graduated from the orphanage. The elder brother already feels really responsible for his younger siblings. Besides, they have also got the youngest brother, Egor, who is living in the Orphanage.

If you are interested in adopting Lesia,Lilia or other children, please read the memo to the potential adoptive parents, guardians, and foster parents or contact us or provide profile #0061297 to the State Department of Adoption.

Other children who dream of finding a family.

If for some reason you are not currently able to adopt, you can still help children from the boarding school (orphanage) through your organizational or financial support. Ways you can help include planning and participating in excursions and trips for the children, visiting a child in the orphanage, or helping purchase developmental toys, books, construction sets, and sport equipment.
